It’s now over week since Ginimbi died in a horror accident which also killed his other three friends. Now that he’s been, it’s now time to hypothesize what would have happened if he had survived the accident.
Given that Ginimbi was the only one who managed to get out of his car whilst his friends were burned beyond recognition, the likelihood of him surviving the accident was relatively high.
Suppose Ginimbi only had survived the accident, he could have found himself in trouble with the law. Here are the 2 crimes Ginimbi probably committed on that fateful morning:
Involuntary manslaughter
Involuntary manslaughter is when a person operates a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or with a prohibited alcohol or drug content and he/she recklessly causes the death of another person.
Videos of Ginimbi drinking beer before the accident are awash on the internet. The death of Moana,Karim and Alicia made Ginimbi liable for involuntary manslaughter as he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
If Ginimbi was found to have committed involuntary manslaughter he would served a term of imprisonment not to exceed 7 years.
Breaking curfew rules
Due to coronavirus, government has introduced a curfew to curb the spread of the virus. Currently the curfew is 10pm to 6 am. Ginimbi’s Dreams nightclub was open and was partying throughout the night in defiance of the curfew. If had survived the accident, he could have been fined.
