How to have two WhatsApp apps on one phone

Smartphone makers answered the prayers of consumers who had multiple SIM cards by introducing phones that function with two SIM cards.

The introduction of Dual SIM phones coincided with the increasing in adoption of WhatsApp especially in third world countries.

Consequently, customer found themselves wanting to have both numbers of the two SIM cards on WhatsApp. But the problem was, users can only have one WhatsApp app in their phone. To have two separate numbers on WhatsApp, a user had to get another phone and install another WhatsApp app for the other SIM card number.

But having to carry two phones around so as to use two WhatsApp accounts is inconvenient. So developers came up with apps that allow users to have two WhatsApp apps on a single phone.

Today, that’s what we are going to show you – how to have two WhatsApp apps on a phone. Now sit back relax and pay attention to the process of activating another WhatsApp account on your phone.

How to have two WhatsApp accounts on a single phone

Before we take you through the process, first make sure that the other SIM card can receive SMS texts for WhatsApp verification. Also, bear in mind that you should first install WhatsApp and register the first WhatsApp account before you start adding the other accounts. Without wasting much time, lets get into it.

>Go to Google Play store

>Look for an app called Parallel Space

>Download and install

>Tap “Start”

>You will see a page labeled “Clone Apps” that shows you app that you can clone in order to run them in Parallel Space.

>Tap the WhatsApp icon and you will see a message saying “Tap to open WhatsApp and sign in your second account”.

>Firstly, install the Parallel Space app from the Play Store. After you’ve installed the app, open it and you’ll be presented with cool slides letting you know about the usefulness of the app. Tap on “Start“.

>You will then start to do that familiar process of registering WhatsApp and you then start to chat on your second WhatsApp number/account.

Unfortunately, Parallel Space is not available for iOS users. Actually, there’s no iOS app which does what Parallel Space do. Therefore, it means that iOS user cannot use two accounts on their iPhones or iPads at moment.

What sucks about Parallel Space

Parallel Space and other apps that allow users to have two accounts on the same phone are riddled with annoying ads that make it difficult to use the apps at times. If you don’t want to see the intrusive apps, you can always make a payment to the developer to have an ad-free experience.

The other issue I have with Parallel Space and other apps that do the same job is that sometimes they slow down many mid-range phones. You’ve got to have a high-end phone to smoothly use these resource-intensive apps.
